The plots aren't the same at all.
Lizzie temporarily acted as Isabella because they were identical and Isabella was refusing to work with Paolo, but they're still 2 separate people. She was a stand in, it was never her secret identity like Hannah is for Miley.

This post confused me, Hannah Montana the movie was about Miley returning home to Tennessee after she gets too caught up in the celebrity lifestyle and living in LA. Lizzie Mcgurire the movie is about Paolo using Lizzie to set up and embrass Isabella, his ex who looks just like Lizzie
Don't ever compare Hannah Montana to any other Disney show 😭
