Translation from 4-chan: (from top left to right)

Results of the Operation

  1. Louise & Lou were given the fragment of grace to promote the unification process, but due to being indoctrinated with Christopher's faith & realizing Lou wasn't Louise's property, Louise's sense of self was shaken, leading her to an incomplete transformation.

  2. Now there's no way to know what's happening. I can't get through to her. ? Kate should have turned down Anthony's proposal after all. Actually...Kate had previously owed him a favor for helping me with Barbara's case. It appears that he has backfired on us.

  3. But is wasn't possible due to Rum's physical strength. 1. fake a body borrowing chicken & pig innards from the kitchen & 2. fake the unification's failed attempt... The idea to replace Louise & Lou with a bag that looked like a corpse in order to get them out of the "box of completion" came from Anthony. I see... so that was the trade-off with Anthony. He said that there was something he wanted to do personally in the adults wing...or so he told me. The was a reason Anthony was open to cooperate with us on this rescue operation. That would mean Kate might have committed a grave mistake...but what if Anthony's goat was Louise's unification instead?

  4. 3...2...1..

  5. Now then on to swap her with the DEAD body. Is this what happens when you perform a unification ritual with noise in mind? Louise, look how incomplete you turned out...even I didn't except this much...

  6. There's no need to blame yourself with regard to Louise, she was akin to something extra to me. I also managed to obtain useful information about the rampage. My apologies Anthony, my teacher. uugh.. it's all over now. If it wasn't for the timing of Kate's operation, I couldn't have gotten the key to this room, but more importantly I'm satisfied with the results. Very interesting...all that's left is to show "that" to Edward and prove the unification was a failure, just how is was originally planned. I wouldn't have been able to get my hands on this fragment of grace.

  7. I got the two of them. Where could Shirley Sama be? I wonder if she's inside this wagon. Let's get a move on.

  8. Candy reporting in, can you hear me Kate. Doug & Douglas are back too. Everyone from the children's wing arrived to the debut hall. Rum should be getting to you guys soon. The faceless dolls are also starting to withdraw from the hall. Got it... Best of luck that's all from me.

  9. Let's just hope and wait for them... What was that just now. It sounded close by! *Anthony blended with the rest of the group and returned to the kitchen. Rum, did you come alone?

  10. How, why is she... LOU.

  11. Lou, wake up. Aah, Louise & Lou. Kate-sama please calm down. This is Kate's fault. I have too...I have too put a stop to this.

  12. How about you try fixing that awful habit of yours by trying to solve everything by yourself. Patrick. This rescue operation has come this far with the help of many of our friends, who have kept their hopes alive. Isn't that right Kate?

  13. Lou, Louise, (displaying his soot power)

  14. no dialouge

  15. She's breathing. It's all thanks to Margaret...she helped Patrick awaken to his own soot ability...we should properly thank her too. I owe you my life. Thank you Patrick. Well, commander of this operation, isn't there something you should be saying?

  16. Louise & Lou rescue operation...complete!

It looks like they both live. I legit almost cried I was so relieved

u/l4zyd3d avatar

I expected for it to happen but I still feel relieved regardless

There is a kaleidoscope of emotions in my head.

Everything that I had built in my head in anticipation of the chapter collapsed like a house of cards, leaving only a few surviving “pyramids” of theories that were embodied in the new chapter.

A deep bow to those who managed to give me hope at a time when I was in complete despair. Thanks to you, I was able to wait for this hour without letting hope go out completely.

I felt Patrick's newfound ability would be used to revert Louise back, though everyone, especially Kate, is dancing in Anthony's palm right now.

The corpse... Is it Maggie? I don't think so, as no one could possibly explain the throat slit...but if it were actually to be Maggie then John's suspicions should ring a bell in Kate's ears...

Things are sure to get far more difficult from now on as Anthony seems to have acquired something he will use for other sinister stuff, though I wonder about Shirley...what is she going to do all alone in that room...?

u/miss-macaron avatar

To be honest, I feel like the rescue was a resolved a bit too quickly/easily... They went from 1 to 100 with the sudden development of Hulk Louise and the meddling of Anthony + Lewis, but one chapter later, the main tension (i.e. the survival of Lou and/or Louise) is already deescalated just like that?

u/RPG_Elf_Girl avatar

Yeah, I feel like something is about to go wrong. I mean, Shirley is still trapped in the unification room, Anthony got that fragment, & Thomas was freed, so those will probably lead to something?

I believe that everything you named will already be in the new arc. And this arc will be completed (I hope) in the next chapter.

And as for Shirley... I think she will be able to get out to her friends easily and simply, so you don’t have to worry about her.

Agreed but it was an awkward setup Im not sure what else they could do with. I think Somatos options were this or something very long and complicated, or kill off Lou or Louise. I kinda see why they went with this even if Im not thrilled.

I wonder if Edward will be punished for the "failed" unification.

Also we still haven't seen Thomas, what will he do now that Stella set him free?

I feel like the conflict of Louise/Lou have been solved too easily. I wanted to watch Louise rampage a bit more. Perhaps it will have some kind of consequence later, since having everyone pass the debut and Louise/Lou both being saved seems too much of a happy ending to the arc, considering the ending of the previous arcs.

u/Alexia_Hungary18 avatar

Spoiler, only for those who haven't read the chapter yet, because it's not translated.

First of all, I'm really, really glad that Louise and Lou were saved. I'm not the only one who had doubts about how this story arc would end. But despite some unexpected twists (Candy, Lewis and Anthony's intervention and finally Hulk Louise), I'm glad it ended the way it did. But now I also understand how Anthony and Lewis got involved in this story, according to them, almost everything was Anthony's idea.

Unfortunately, I can't hope that Kate will start to doubt Anthony after this. Even if she chides him for interfering with the rescue operation when he forced Louise to accept the idea of a merger...Anthony is able to explain himself and turn things around as if he did all of this just to "save" Louise and Lou. Although we know that he would not have been interested in the fate of the girls at all. -_-

And I have my doubts about the dead bodies. In the first place, I don't understand how they solve the problem with corpses in a work, when the difference between them and Lou is obvious. I'm highlighting Lou here because we've already witnessed a failed merger before where we apparently saw the "Living Puppet" dead in the box. So, if the dead body of the work does not resemble Lou herself, then I do not understand how they cover up the traces of the rescue operation. Moreover, Anthony put not only Lou's "corpse" in the box, but also Louise's "corpse". If I saw correctly, there were two, which is double wtf?!

Now, my theory about the dead bodies. No matter how much I think about it, it makes sense that Anthony probably used Margaret and Maggie's corpses. But Shirley's reaction worries me. She was scared to death after Anthony dumped the bodies in the box. In the absence of a translation, I can't be sure, but they seemed a bit "alive" to me. At least in the penultimate picture on page five, I can't tell if Anthony pushed his hand into the box or fell into it by himself. Anyway, for now, until we see or are shown what or who is in the box instead of Lou and Louise, I don't want to share my theory about who else could be inside instead of them. I don't want to say anything stupid.

Finally, I'm just wondering if Louise really got better after Patrick used his age powers against her? So did Patrick's ability really neutralize the fragment absorbed into Louise? Or, once she's back with Lou, will she try to re-enter Hulk mode with him because she still feels the compulsion to merge with him? I'm really looking forward to the sequel.

If all goes well with Louise, I have a theory about what will happen to her after this. Now that her "ego" is bruised and she thinks of herself as a monster, I think this situation will be the perfect opportunity for Kate to reveal her true identity to her friends. At the very least, I think this would be a perfect Louise and Kate bonding time. <3

u/Reshira_ avatar

And that body is definitely alive I don't think he used 2 bodies but one who was half unified

u/Alexia_Hungary18 avatar

I do not know. It seemed to me that there were two different bodies, a shadow and a person, in the sheet. I'm a little afraid that whoever is in the box right now might still be alive. But I say. Until Somato and his team confirm this, I don't want to mislead anyone. ⁀⊙﹏☉⁀

It was really quite a strange solution. However, it had positive and negative effects. Positive: Maybe there's an alternative alliance between the new Debutantes and Kate's team. True, Candy is still in question. Because I'm still not sure what he considers the Shadows to be or what he wants to achieve and in what way. And then we can also assume that Douglas and Doug will join Kate's rebellion. I trust that Doug will at least refuse or give up coffee once he realizes that he doesn't have to be ashamed of his weaknesses and "unnecessary thoughts". Also, I hope Kate will really reveal the truth about her origins to her friends or at least to Louise after what happened. Also, I wouldn't mind if they experimented a bit with Patrick's soot. If you all know what I mean... ;)

The negative side of the events: Sarah may be in danger, as Edward wants to use her as a source of energy. Louise thinks she's a monster and now she has to rebuild her confidence. Not to mention that they have to hide now, because of course everyone in the castle officially knows that they have been invited. Not to mention Anthony, who just acquired a few more shards. Who knows what kind of trouble he wants to stir up. Then there is Thomas's question, what will happen to him now that Stella has freed him? There will definitely be some consequence to this, but unfortunately we are not yet there to find out. :(

Then there is the last, most serious problem, which I will honestly be curious to see where this investigation will lead. Of course Joseph will investigate Emilico and Candy. Or rather, about the mysterious suitcase. The question is, will he be able to uncover the truth about Kate, the last living heir to the Mirror house?

There will still be interesting story arcs, so don't worry. The story will continue! Or is the story really starting now? ;)

Just officially close this story, please!! Somato! (╥﹏╥)

Maybe Thomas and Edward will fight each other? I think he would want to take revenge on him and on the third floor shadows. After what happened to him he might not be loyal to grandfather anymore, so he might decide to help Kate defeat the grandfather and third floor shadows. It would also give Kate an adult ally who could give her information about the adults wing.

Also Thomas supposed to be the one to unify Christopher and Anthony, so how was he able to escape? Thomas is a really powerful shadow, so I doubt he was just that reckless and didn't notice or was unable to stop Anthony. He must know the truth what happened when they were going to unify and we might learn about that soon. My guess is that he knows that Anthony survived and let him go free. It would indicate that he also wants to fight against the grandfather and possibly take over. Remember that faceless living dolls supposed to drink coffee for 30 days to completely reset their memories, but it appears Anthony has been given no coffee at all. There's no way he would just simply forgot giving him the coffee, so if Thomas purposefully avoided giving him it he might have a bigger plan and that's why he want Anthony to act behind the scenes. Although I doubt his intentions are genuine and more like he wants to take over the third floor to rule the mansion himself.

I have a feeling Joseph might know about Kate. He was always acting different and more mature than the other third floor shadows and he is also much older than them. It's possible he actually was waiting for her return / has predicted it to happen. Still his intentions and goals are unclear. And he is the only third floor shadow who's face we yet to see. By his age it's likely he was the one who took over the mansion, or he could also be related to Kate. I suppose we will learn about him soon.

I think Mia will see that Sara is being used as an energy source, constantly in distress and having negative emotions, she will realize that they were just used and played by Edward. I'm afraid that Sara might not survive but it would cause Mia to realize how awful the house is and switch sides. Although it would also take her to deal with her trauma of abuse from before she joined the manor. It might also be possible that Sara will go on a rampage, realizing she is powerless, can't become an adult and was lied to and betrayed by Edward. The question is will she be saved and redeemed or will she self destruct.

The problem with Candy is that she sees all shadows as monsters. Perhaps interacting with Kate and her team she might realize that not all shadows are evil and they are also just being used and brainwashed by the house.

Douglas and Doug already knows that Emilico and Candy are came from outside, so it's just one step from here to reveal them that actually all the living dolls are from the outside the manor and they have been abducted and the house is just using and brainwashing them. My concern is more about Evelyn since she is known to be very strict at following the rules and being loyal to the house. I'm afraid she will find out about Louise and Lou and she won't be pleased. I think at first she will go against Kate but then Douglas will talk with her and she will join the rebellion.

Also I wonder did Patrick actually reverse all the effects of the fragments of favor and half unification, or is it just temporary and Louise will face some consequence from them? They were saved suspiciously easy, so something really bad might happen very soon...

u/astronautdino avatar

Damn this got way too long, I'm sorry

u/Alexia_Hungary18 avatar

You don't have to apologize. I'm like that too, that I can't summarize my opinion in a few sentences. You wrote a lot of good stuff. <3

For me, the merger of Christopher and Anthony has been a huge question mark since it became clear how exactly this merger is taking place. I had so many questions, including how Anthony broke his own brainwashing or how Christopher was able to bring him back to his senses in time? Since we don't know anything about what Christopher's ability might be, it remains an eternal mystery for now. However, how Anthony escaped with all this knowledge is still a huge mystery. We discussed earlier in the comments that Christopher must have gone on a rampage while they were in the box with Anthony and that's probably how they got out of the box. But how did he get out of the room? Which was locked with a key and with that Thomas had the only key at the time? Your theory about Thomas and Anthony teaming up could be an alternate story, as I would also think that Thomas wants the Shadows House for himself.

However, let's not forget that Thomas was penalized because it was Anthony who made sure he was out of the picture. Of course, he instructed Lewis to create this conspiracy against him, but of course all of this was blamed on Edward as the main plotter. And we also know that his next target will now be Edward himself. So, for this reason, I believe that they could not cooperate at that time. By the way, Thomas would probably look down on Anthony because he sees him as a Puppet. I think after Christopher failed his merger, Anthony simply became "Faceless Puppet". I'm just assuming he took the chance and ran off to Maryrose and Rosemary.

Not to mention that during the rescue operation, Stella accidentally freeing Thomas was not included in the plan at all. If Thomas even took the chance and ran away at all after Stella left his guard.

And about Mia. So I do not know. She was brainwashed very badly. Much worse than what Doug had. Douglas had never questioned the rules of the house before, so Doug was never caught by his master's unnecessary thoughts. But when Edward confronted them with the truth, they both immediately questioned the rules of the house and realized they were following the not right path. Thus, they were able to realize in time that they cannot trust adults.

However...with Sarah and Mia, things were completely different. Sarah had previously questioned the house rules and began to trust Kate. However, Mia did not take this well and immediately brought Sarah to her senses and forced her to remain loyal to the house. During the Debut, it was also seen that Mia continued to make sure Sarah didn't waver on "Shadows House". He continued to instruct her not to trust Kate. Although Sarah looked pretty down after Stella and Candy successfully passed the Debut. As someone who was very afraid of the consequences of his fall. However, he did not answer Kate's question when she inquired about his well-being. And Mia's nonchalant demeanor made me think that no matter how much Sarah was suffering, she wasn't going to help her. I think she'll think it's necessary for her master to be useful to the castle and the Shadow Nobles. So probably after a while, as you said, Sarah will be the one to break it. And I think it's likely that he'll be on a rampage after his ability awakens.

Oddly enough, I wasn't worried about Evelyn at all in this matter. She is really a shadow who faithfully serves the House of Shadows, but she is still able to let go of certain boundaries to some extent. For example, when she protected Douglas and Doug from Kingt. He surprisingly let both Danny and Dan pass the Debut. However, I expected that he would handle the exam much more strictly than the others. Yet he deliberately gave them a good rating to pass. That's why I don't think you need to worry about her because I think Evelyn would be willing to help Kate and the others. If she understand why they rebel. Evelyn is an attentive and reasonable girl. Not some mindless brainwashed shadow that can be manipulated. You just have to understand why they are doing it and I think he would understand everything right away. At most, it would only make her feel bad if she found out that Louise and Lou were saved by her supposed "colleagues" without being initiated into the plan.

Come on, who writes a longer comment? XD Good Luck, guys! hehehehe

At least there were no losses, though Shirley was left behind and Candy is far from trustworthy.

If all we have discussed about some time ago is close to the truth then the only one who can stop or anticipate Anthony's plan is John.

Both Lou and Louise just surviving doesn't seem right to me.

I'm actually expecting now for chapter 194/195 to have a big twist and reveal Lou and Louise now being 2 separate personalities in Lou's body.

Apparently both Louise and Lou were saved... Words cannot describe the scale of my disappointment
