I bought the Aesir package from the bazaar today and I just have to say that I am very disappointed. Not only does it look tasteless, but the content is also somehow incomplete. The package includes round walls for the first time. The round walls were the reason for buying this package, but it wasn’t clear to me that you couldn’t really do anything with the round walls. For example, round foundations are missing, round roof parts are missing, there are no round stairs and much more. So the package is really not a complete affair. I feel a bit fooled. I won’t buy anything more for now. Sorry FunCom but that was a step in the toilet!!!

The round walls in the Aesir set are designed to be used with the Aesir fortifications. There’s also an Aesir curved ceiling piece designed for that set as well.

OK thanks. But unfortunately I only half understood the meaning behind it. Maybe I’m living a little behind the moon right now. How do I use all of this for fortifications?

You’ll notice a curved fortified wall in the build set. The fortification pieces are classified as foundations. They’re the large pieces in the set. As for the set looking bland, try it in combination with other sets, such as Frontier.

Ok I think I need some time to deal with this. I thank you for your help

I think I should delete the post. It wouldn’t be fair, it was my mistake. Can I add you somehow. Sorry FunCom

Took me a while to get used to some of the pieces. Note in regards to the fortifications, they can be frustrating to place due to their low tolerance to sinking. Especially the curved fortified wall

I’ll try it in conjunction with the Nimedian package. Let’s see what comes of it

Good luck with your build

@DaSchu83 I wouldn’t delete the post. I appreciate you making it. Was having a similar issue when I purchased the Aesir when it came out. This could help others. @Lucidique really appreciate you sorting this out didn’t understand how to use those pieces.

I use the same combinations if i built with aesir, looks pretty dope.
But i don’t think @DaSchu83 is wrong on this, the set is missing a few parts, in comparison to the old DLC’s they are lacking. Just like the pyramid set.

Creative builders mostly find a way to work around such restrictions, but it can still be frustrating.
No straight stairway (pyramid set) or ramps for example, or no round roofs.
What frustrates me the most is the lack of round foundations. And the fact that we can’t lower the fortifications. On uneven terrain it’s quite annoying!

@DaSchu83 i wouldn’t delete this topic like @sestus2009 said, some other exiles might be happy to know about this.

I am building this pattern on my private server. Using black ice for the square foundation’s and Aesir for the triangular. Walls are Aesir three towers on top not finished yet.

There’s an Aesir straight set of stairs. I just don’t bother using them.

Sorry my bad. Edited it.
But one thing i forgot is the fences! Just like on the lost dungeon set, the aesir fences don’t stop people from climbing over them.

And to there are quite some other things with these sets… but would be off topic i guess.

Still hoping for Aesir awnings personally.
