Arsenal fans are furious with Son Heung-min and have told the Tottenham star he has ‘blood on his hands’ for a missed chance against Manchester City.

The Gunners desperately needed their north London rivals to do them a favour against Pep Guardiola’s men but they suffered a 2-0 defeat on Tuesday night.

City’s victory means they are firmly in the driving seat to land this season’s Premier League trophy but Arsenal can still come out on top on the final day.

Despite not being out of the title race, Arsenal fans have been left upset with Son, who wasted a big opportunity to equalise before Erling Haaland’s second goal.

In the 86th minute, when City only had a one-goal lead, Spurs captain Son was played clean through on goal and looked almost certain to score.

Son, who was positioned just right of centre, looked to slot home in the far corner but Stefan Ortega pulled off an incredible save, sticking out a leg to deny him.

‘Nah Son has blood on his hands after that,’ @AFTVMedia posted on X. ‘Heung-min Son better never score another 1 on 1 for the rest of his life.’

‘Son knows what he’s doing,’ @NjokeSteve posted. ‘Investigate him.’
