WWE announced a lot of matches for last week's RAW and SmackDown, with it soon becoming clear that there wouldn't be room for all of them.

As a result, the King and Queen of the Ring tournament continued at non-televised WWE Live events with LA Knight vs. Santos Escobar, Tiffany Stratton vs. Michin, Kofi Kingston vs. Rey Mysterio, and Maxxine Dupri vs. Shayna Baszler.

On Saturday night at the McKenzie Arena in Chattanooga, Tennessee, Knight defeated Escobar to advance to the quarter-final stage of the King of the Ring tournament. Now, he'll face The Bloodline's Tama Tonga.

Stratton, meanwhile, beat Michin and will have to do battle with Bianca Belair if she hopes to earn that Queen's crown.

Then, on Sunday night at the Macon Centreplex Coliseum in Georgia, it was Kingston and Baszler who picked up some big wins to move forward in the tournament (which, unlike previous years, is finally being taken seriously by WWE and is unlikely to see the winners forced to embrace a goofy new comedy gimmick as "King" and "Queen").

Kingston will square off with Gunther, while Baszler has Iyo Sky to contend with. While some fans were disappointed that these matches didn't take place on TV, this is a clever way for WWE to make it clear its live events are just as important as RAW, SmackDown, and NXT.

You can check out some highlights from those WWE Live events in the X posts below along with a list of confirmed matches for the Saudi Arabia event ahead of tonight's RAW.

King and Queen of the Ring takes place on May 25.
