Sights and sounds from Friday's rookie minicamp practice in Cleveland

We continue to get closer to the 2024 NFL season as rookie minicamp for the Cleveland Browns on Friday in Berea. You can’t gain much from watching these practices, but it was great to see the new helmets with white facemasks on display. Michael Hall Jr. showed off the explosiveness and athleticism that made the Browns pick him in the second round of this year’s draft. You won’t find many players his size that can move the way he does.

It was good to see third-round pick Zak Zinter on the field moving around without restriction after breaking his leg against Ohio State in November, ending his season early. Fifth-round pick Jamari Thrash turned heads with an impressive snag in his practice with the Browns.

Some of the players in Berea this weekend are looking to steal a roster spot for training camp, and it’s always fun to watch those battles. Here are some of the sights and sounds from the first practice of rookie minicamp on Friday.
