Legendary filmmaker, Wes Anderson has partnered with Montblanc to celebrate the Meisterstück pen after 100 years of unparalleled craftsmanship and design. The love for this incredible writing instrument is shown through a special short film that immediately thrusts the viewer into the whimsical world Anderson has crafted throughout his career.

The film, starring Anderson, Rupert Friend, and Jason Schwartzman, depicts the fictional Montblanc headquarters up in the snow-capped peak of Mont Blanc. The trio start off introducing the classic Meisterstück pen and continue expanding upon the house’s rich heritage of design excellence. They explain in perfectly unconventional fashion that Montblanc also offers goods past the beloved pens like their leather goods and watches. The film concludes by highlighting the Montblanc ethos which is bringing a story to live by putting quality pen to paper. The three minute experience allows Anderson lovers to revel in this brief taste of his genius in between his feature films.

A campaign with visuals shot by Charlie Gray accompanies the film and features Rupert Friend, American actress Maude Apatow, Indian-American actor and designer Waris Ahluwalia, Korean actor Lee Jinuk, and Chinese actor Jing Boran. The Anderson approved actors occupy the stunning sets to show off the Montblanc lifestyle.
