Mark Wahlberg, Rachel Weisz and Susan Sarandon in The Lovely Bones.
Emma Watson in The Perks of Being a Wallflower and Beauty and the Beast.
James Corden and Ricky Gervais in any voiceover roles. Takes me right out of the film.
    Tom Hanks in Elvis.
    Juno Temple in Horns.
    Charlize Theron in Sweet November.
Toni Collette in The Sixth Sense.
Rosie O'Donnell as Betty in the live action Flinstones movies.
Barbra Streisand in The Mirror Has Two Faces and The Prince of Tides.
Scarlett Johansson as Rebecca Doppelmeyer in Ghost World. The weak link in an excellent film.
Chris Pratt and Anna Taylor-Joy in The Super Mario Bros Movie.
Idris Elba as Knuckles in the Sonic the Hedgehog movies.
Emma Stone in Poor Things. I could "see" her acting.

I can't stand the following actors in most of their films, so they often seem miscast to me.
    Florence Pugh
    Ben Affleck
    James Franco
    Gwyneth Paltrow
Carey Mulligan and Minnie Driver - especially in films where they do an American accent
Kate Winslet - she is in some of my favourite films, so an odd choice for me
    Sally Hawkins - over-acts A LOT.
    Helena Bonham-Carter
    Emma Thompson
    Amber Heard

Why do you think Toni Colette was miscast ?
The Willoughbys has been the only thing Ive been able to tolerate Ricky Gervais in. He was actually pretty good in it.

Michael Gambon was miscast as Dumbledore in my view. The way he portrayed him was far too aggressive.

Richard Harris should have portrayed Dumbledore in all the films, but his death meant they had to cast someone else.

I would have loved Harris to continue as Dumbledore. I thought Gambon was ok, but I agree he came across as too aggressive. I am not sure who I would have chosen for the role though - an interesting question.

Going back to Les Mis, as a fan of the musical, I thought the only person miscast for the film was Russell Crowe - everyone else I thought was very good (including Anne), but he simply didn't have the singing voice, and seemed self conscious in the role. I also though he was miscast in Robin Hood (my god his accent was appalling, and again he seemed self-conscious), though I loved in him Gladiator.

I am also going to stick up for Emma Watson in Beauty and the Beast, I thought she was perfect for the role. :)

Hayden Christensen would also be one of my worse-miscasts - I know he was hampered by an appalling script and direction, but wow he is so, so wooden in the role. He's playing one of the most iconic characters in cinematic history - the actor chosen should have had much more charisma, star quality and acting ability than he is capable of. It's rather telling that his career hasn't exactly been stellar since.

BIB - I always thought that Ian McKellen was the obvious choice - but of course he was being Gandalf around that time and there is quote a lot of similarity in the characters. I think my next choice would have been Patrick Stewart - although it would have been tempting to get him to say "make it so" or "engage" :D

I was thinking more of "I've seen everything".

Angela Lansbury as Miss Marple in The Mirror Cracked.

I thought she was fine and was the best thing about that movie.

I though the whole thing was awful and walked out after about 20 minutes and waited for my wife outside.

There is only one Miss Marple - Joan Hickson!

I liked Geraldine McEwan as Miss Marple.
