Gal Gadot's WONDER WOMAN is NOT Coming Back to James Gunn's DCU
Will Gal Gadot be one of the few DCEU stars to return to the DCU? Trades say no!
The DCU film slate, presented in January 2023 by James Gunn and Peter Safran, did not include a standalone Wonder Woman feature. Gal Gadot told the media in August 2023 that she had met with Gunn and Safran and was guaranteed to return to the role.
Since then, there have been contradictory claims that Gadot may return as Wonder Woman or be out. The "reliable" @MyTimeToShine announced Gadot's Wonder Woman's return in September 2023.
Variety reports that Gunn and Safran "are creating a new DC Universe and Gadot’s Wonder Woman is not a part of it."
