FSU vs Pittsburgh baseball score updates: Follow live from Saturday's ACC game
The Florida State baseball team continues its ACC series at Pittsburgh today.
No. 7 FSU opened the proceedings Friday night. The Seminoles are looking to set themselves up for the ACC baseball tournament in two weeks and secure home-field advantage for the regionals in the NCAA tournament.
Today's probable starters are Carson Dorsey (3-2, 3.77 ERA) for FSU and Jack Sokol (5-3, 5.43 ERA) for Pitt. Dorsey has been filling in the weekend rotation while Cam Leiter and Conner Whittaker recover from injuries. He's been sharp over his last three starts, giving up just five runs over 17⅔ innings against Wake Forest, Duke and NC State. Sokol has been the Panthers' best pitcher this season, but he struggled his last time out vs. Notre Dame, giving up six runs over three innings.
