After treatment of Vendetta and Gentrol by an exterminator, I saw 3 baby roaches in one day. The roaches are making me depressed.
After a year long battle with roaches in our home. I told myself that there was no other option other than to hire an exterminator at this point.
He treated our home with Gentrol and Vendetta Bait on May 3rd.
I saw two roaches upstairs, and I got a bit depressed.
This morning at 4AM, i'm sleeping in my own bed with my dog and she caught a small roach on my bed. I'm just wondering why he is even on my bed and how he got there.
My bed is clean, it smells like febreeze and clean linen.
I knocked him off my bed and he ran underneath it. I cannot spray anything, I just have to deal with it to not interfere with the treatment. This is making me depressed.
Are we supposed to be catching them dead around the house, alive running around the house, or both?
Welcome to r/GermanRoaches. Please see the stickied post at the top of the sub for all you need to know about battling these bugs. It is a result of 35 years of experience in the pest control business. Many, many success stories have been reported after following the advice there.
If you have questions about Alpine WSG please see the label first.
If you live in Canada near the border, please check this link for information on importing pesticides for personal use. You need to personally be present to bring it over the border, so not everyone will be able to do this, but hopefully some of you find it helpful. Most provinces in Canada require that landlords deal with roach problems, so if you rent you may also be able to go that route. If neither of these is an option your best bet is to hire a pro.

Treatments take time to work.
I'll note that there are products you can use like Alpine WSG, Advion WDG, or Doxem NXT that should help knock them down faster without interfering too much with what the exterminator put down. Just avoid spraying the bait placements if you can.
