Helen Elizabeth Kostal Lanfear Oct. 6, 1921 – Mar. 12, 2016 Hayward Helen passed away on March 12, 2016 at the age of 94 and was born in Seattle, WA. She loved sewing, needle arts and rosemaling. Helen graduated from Oakland High School and attended Chabot College. She retired after 20 years as a beautician. Helen was a member of the Son’s and Daughter’s of Norway. She is survived by Penny Hicks & Adrian, Michael Lanfear and Jil Croll & Richard along with her 3 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Elida Mesa. Helen was preceded in passing by her loving husband Stan Lanfear of 56 years, 1 grandson, her 2 brothers and 2 sisters. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, April 30th at 2:00 pm.
