That’s why it’s music to our ears that a brand-new remote check-in location for passengers travelling out of Abu Dhabi’s Zayed International Airport has opened. The new spot is located in Mussafah’s Shabia-11 and it’s available for flights operated by Etihad Airways, Air Arabia, Wizz Air, and Egypt Air.
Abu Dhabi’s airport remote check-in in Mussafah
Location: Al Arzaq Street, Mussafah Shabia – 11 (Behind Al Madina Hypermarket)
Hours: 10 am – 10 pm
Fees: Dh35 per adult (all passengers above 12 years old), Dh25 per child (aged 12 years and below), and Dh15 per infant (aged two years and below)
Airlines: Etihad Airways, Air Arabia, Wizz Air, Egypt Air
This is the third location to offer remote luggage check-ins in Abu Dhabi. Passengers can check in their luggage at Terminal 1 of Abu Dhabi Cruise Terminal in Zayed Port and also at Yas Mall, a second location that opened just a few weeks ago.
The remote check-in service is the result of a collaboration between Etihad Airport Services, Abu Dhabi Airports, and OACIS Middle East. Speaking about how the service is key to Abu Dhabi’s position as a tourist destination, managing director and chief executive officer at Abu Dhabi Airports Elena Sorlini said: “We are committed to strengthening Abu Dhabi’s position as a global tourism and aviation hub, and this innovative remote check-in will further help ensure a seamless and memorable travel experience.”
