The shear line will bring cloudy weather conditions with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms over Batanes and Babuyan Islands. Possible flash floods or landslides are expected due to moderate to at times heavy rains.

The easterlies will bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms over Metro Manila and the rest of the country. Flash floods or landslides are possible in these areas during severe thunderstorms.

The Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA), Pasay City station will register 43 degrees Celsius, while the Science Garden in Quezon City will register 41 degrees Celsius, according to the meteorological bureau, placing Metro Manila’s heat index at danger level.

The weather agency has advised Filipinos to drink plenty of water, avoid tea, coffee, soda, or liquor, wear heat protective hear, avoid prolonger sun exposure, limit outdoor activities, and reschedule heavy-duty activities at the start or end of the day to avoid heat cramps, heat exhaustion, and heat stroke.

When relative humidity is taken into consideration, the heat index provides a realistic sense of how hot a location feels.

Meanwhile, the coastal water condition across the country will be slight to moderate, according to PAGASA.
