Pat Cummins danced to a Bollywood hit number on his birthday, winding down ahead of a high-pressure IPl 2024 game for SRH against LSG at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad on May 8, Wednesday. In a video that was widely shared on social media, Cummins was spotted shaking a leg to 'Laal Peeli Akhiyan' -- popular song from Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon's latest movie 'Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya'.
Cummins was dancing to the popular number in what looked like a dance studio. A couple of other dancers were also trying to catch up with the Australian star, who has been enjoying his time in India since the ODI World Cup last year. Cummins also aced the Pushpa hook-step and thrilled the fans by speaking Telugu earlier in the IPL 2024 season. Cummins had recently taken his family to a Hyderabadi biryani feast. He was joined by his wife and his kid when they were in India.

The star bowler also celebrated his 31st birthday on May 8, Wednesday and received a memorable gift as SRH hammered LSG by 10 wickets. LSG had won the toss and opted to bat first, and the decision did not pay much dividends as they scored just 27 runs and lost 2 wickets in the first 6 overs, their lowest powerplay score of IPL 2024. Lucknow managed to score 165 runs as Cummins picked KL Rahul's wicket and inflicted a brilliant direct hit to run-out Krunal Pandya.
The opening duo of Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma latched onto the LSG bowlers. SRH notched up the highest total after the first 10 overs in the IPL as they scored 167 runs within 9.4 overs. SRH have jumped to the 3rd spot in the points table with 7 wins in 12 matches. SRH's win meant MI have officially been knocked out of the play-offs race.
