The Logan County Solid Waste District is announcing the closure of the temporary tornado debris collection site located at the Lakeview Village Park on the north side of Lake Avenue in the village.
The closure will occur on Friday, May 31st.
The site will no longer be available after that date for any type of debris disposal.
Tornado-affected citizens are encouraged to take their debris to the site as soon as possible so that operations can begin to finalize and the site can be rehabilitated to pre-tornado condition.
The Board of Logan County Commissioners has committed $50,000 in funding to return the site to full use as a village park after the closure.
