he’s always been a weird one. cilvia demo is one of THE best hip-hop debuts all time & that was him 12-14 yrs ago
he needs to be marketed HARD & a few forced collabs would do wonders for his appeal. kendrick did it work maroon 5, taylor & imagine dragons
just really want him to receive the recognition his talent deserves. cilvia demo, sun’s tirade & THIB are better catalogs than 90% of these rappers out there

I think the people who know of him respect his artistry. He may just need a little push promotionally.
I don’t want him doing anything forced. I just want him to keep putting out the music he wants. He has a cult fanbase thats gonna be there anyway.
There’s nothing wrong with taking that Curren$y/underground route. So many rappers haven’t performed well commercially, but are always respected within the culture.

Q DID have his commercial run, and now is dropping the best music of his career. he's doing completely fine. I think it's zay's time to shine and go mainstream
tbf, kendrick was gonna be just fine too, OD showed that like 5 years in advance. not that I'm sayin q should be the new big artist tho. as you said he's had his commercial run. i agree, zay is a much better pick mainstream and longevity wise
He has the charisma and talent too. he has a unique style, can make mainstream music, can make great underground music and he got his story too. tde should put the big machine behind him next album
