A Vermont federal district court denied Bevin & Son’s motion to dismiss the claims of the DOL on behalf of a construction worker claiming that he faced retaliation in violation of the Fair Labor Standards Act for accepting a wage monetary settlement, stating that the DOL presented sufficient evidence that the construction worker was specifically targeted for public exposure after the outline of the settlement agreement without the names of the people involved was made public by the DOL.
