The District Institute of Arts (Idartes) opened the public invitation for those who wish to participate in the Art and Entrepreneurship Zone of five festivals that will be held in the second half of 2024, of the nine that are scheduled in the capital .
According to the district entity, the musical meetings in which the ventures may participate are: Jazz in the Park, Rock in the Park, Salsa in the Park, Colombia in the Park and Hip Hop in the Park.

The leader of the sustainability line, Quena Leonel, commented that thanks to these scenarios, the district aims to boost the creative-cultural economy of the city, in which entrepreneurs can market their goods and products with markets that are very relevant to their product.
“They are not left out, it is a great platform that not only has an impact on sales but also on frameworks such as, for example, a venture that participated on FILBo 2024 increased more than 1,000 followers on Instagram with its participation in the art and entrepreneurship areas,” Leonel added.
According to official data from the administration, In 2023, the park festivals had the participation of almost 110 businesses in the art and entrepreneurship area, with sales of approximately $400,000,000. “These figures demonstrate the importance of participating in these festivals that will contribute to enriching the cultural life of the city and promoting local talent,” added Idartes.

However, Idartes pointed out that the registration of the enterprise is only valid for one festival and in a single area, whether sustainability or plastic and visual arts, so they must pay attention to each of the lines of the registration process.
For the 2024 edition, the public invitation is directed to ventures of natural persons, groups or legal entities that wish to market their goods or artistic and cultural products in the ZEA: Art and Entrepreneurship Zone in the Festivals al Parque 2024.
Regarding the Plastic and Visual Arts option, It is aimed at natural persons or groups in the city that want to market their works, products or services in the ZEA. In either option, participation will be valid for only one festival.
On the other hand, for the ZAE, Idartes specified who will not be able to participate in the public invitation:
- Businesses, or artists, that sell beverages, food or tobacco products as part of their productive activities.
- Businesses, or artists, that use, display or market aerosols on site.
- Entrepreneurship, nor artists who are dedicated to body modification (piercing and tattoo).
- Entrepreneurship, nor artists who sell products developed by third parties, that is, they are not direct producers and creators of said products.
Keep in mind that The selected initiatives will make a registration payment, the collection of which will be made by the associated entity, within the framework of an association agreement established by Idartes. The proceeds will be invested to strengthen resources to leverage the technical and logistical expenses of the ZAE.
“In no way does it constitute a remuneration or payment for the use of the space, it only corresponds to the active involvement in the activities planned for the Festival and cannot be understood as a payment made to the public entity,” the entity added.
