Abington School District to host four informational sessions in May to help seniors fill out the Senior Citizen Tax Rebate Program application

The Abington School District Business Office will host four informational sessions to provide senior citizens with assistance in filling out the application for the Senior Citizen Tax Rebate Program.

According to the Business Office, select senior citizen homeowners may be eligible to receive tax relief via Abington School District’s Senior Citizen Tax Rebate Program, which is based on the Pennsylvania Property Tax Rebate.

To be eligible, you must have already been approved through the state’s program and paid your school real estate taxes in full prior to applying for the District’s rebate.

The sessions are scheduled as follows:

  • May 21 (8:30-10:30 a.m.) – Crestmont Club House in Willow Grove
  • May 22 (10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.) – Abington Township Public Library in Abington
  • May 22 (1-3 p.m.) – Holy Nativity Episcopal Church in Rockledge
  • May 23 (5:30-7 p.m.) – Ardsley Community Center in Glenside
