Untitled Clayton William Lewis Jr.A most gentle and caring Father and husband, Clay passed away peacefully in his sleep January 24, 2007 in Temecula, CA. Clay was born May 20, 1937 to Elinor and Clayton Lewis Sr. He grew up in San Jose where he married his High School sweetheart, Shelly Coley. He is survived by his wife Shelly and daughter Judy Malone, son-in-law Michael Malone, granddaughters Kellie and Kristen Malone of Temecula, daughter Sandy Torres, son-in law Philip and grandchildren Emily and Max of San Jose.He will be remembered for his love and caring of his family and friends. He loved being involved with his children and grandchildren, cheering them on during their school activities and sports events. His children will forever remember his words of wisdom, “there’s no free lunch” and “keep smiling”. We know Clay is smiling now.A private service will be held in Temecula. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests donation be made in his memory to Hospice of the Valleys 28127 Bradley Road, Sun City, CA 92586.
