This was evident once more on Saturday when Anushka was seen in the stands supporting Virat and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) as they played against the Chennai Super Kings during IPL 2024. 

Royal Challengers Bangalore secured the final playoff spot with a significant 27-run victory over defending champions Chennai Super Kings, continuing their remarkable run in the tournament.

For the unversed, Smriti Mandhana is actually the captain of Royal Challengers Bangalore in the Women's Premiere League aka WPL. 

Anushka Sharma’s Upcoming Projects

Fans will witness Anushka in Chakda Xpress, a biopic about legendary cricketer Jhulan Goswami. Prosit Roy directed the film, which also stars Dibyendu Bhattacharya, Renuka Shahane, Anshul Chauhan, Koushik Sen, and Mahesh Thakur. This film marks her comeback  after a five-year break following her last performance in Zero.
