I'm so uncomfortable with the cheating plotline

I don't know because I'm Asian so I don't familiar with American thingyyy or sth?

But why everyone seem okay with Haley cheating all the time? Like Andy and Haley thing and everyone just "wao" for a second then brush it off like it no big deal? If my mother find me in a room making out with a guy that is clearly engaged, she will kick me out of the house and tell me that I'm a disgrace. Ok maybe not kick me out because that is extreme, but she will make a big deal out of it for sure.

I kinda confused. Like no one find Haley action is shameful? I don't mind about her being a screw up, the Dunphy has enough money to spoil her. But cheating? She just go and have sex with Dylan when she havent done with Arvin yet?

I feel like anyone call out Haley and you guys will come and accuse people as sexist. I think that Dylan and Andy are gross and responsible too. But like, I talking about Haley cause people love her so much and already hate on these guys.

And I feel like Haley is a bit spoiled and never face any consequences for her actions. Also I think the writers make her development so bad. Like after dropping out of college, she doesn't have any career that can support her self, then cheating, sleeping around and then have babies.

They want to normalize cheating, dont let that confuse you.

Changing boyfriends when you’re young is different than having an affair after decades of marriage.

She not changing them, she cheating.

At season 10 she did end her relationship with Arvin to be with Dylan, so it seem like the show trying to portrait the confusing/don't know what you want in your 20s, but kiss/sleep with someone when you or that person in a relationship seem just kind of wild and unacceptable for me 😅

Didn’t she get arrested and kicked out of college? That seems like consequences of her actions to me.

Ye but she didn't really have to deal with it. I mean it just feel really easy for her. I would love to see her be more independent and can fix her own problems. Like maybe stick to community college and get a corporate job? Or continue with her blog and become a influencer, or her photography thing.

Her parents do all the work for her. After she got arrested, Claire came and rescued her (she still acted like she the victim). After she got kick out of college, she came back and lived in her parent basement and didn't have to worry a single thing. I mean ye, nothing wrong with that but it seem like it's never her doing sth.

she mentions in a later episode that she finished community college (she says she did 3 years at a 2 year college), there's also a deleted scene of her taking community college courses or graduating from then iirc. And doesn't she have a decent/fairly professional job by the end with Nerp or whatever?

As a south Asian, Alot of things in this show doesn't make sense.

the cheating was horrible. Everyone knew yet no one did anything??

Also that episode with s*x painting hung on the dinning room wall. That whole plot, it blew my mind off.
