I've watched so many good films over the past few years, I am stuck.

Discussion

I feel like I'm running thin on movies that I'm very excited about. Since 2020 I've been spoiled. Johnny Got His Gun, Come and See, Tokyo Story, Network, The Seventh Continent, The Deer Hunter, Dog Day Afternoon, Wake In Fright, The Wages of Fear.

I need suggestions.

Audition, I Saw The Devil, and Angst are great. Haven't seen the rest. Cure(1997) looks like it fits well here. That one is pretty chilling.

Best movies I’ve watched so far this year which I recommend are Blue Ruin, Cold Fish & The Handmaiden.

Have you seen World of Kanako, another gem.

Sounds great. An Asian cinema fan I see.

On a journey to be sure, found so many exceptional movies.

Try to go with a director, watch their entire filmography: Bergman, Lars von Trier, Fritz Lang, Kiarostami, Fellini or what ever you think is interesting.

Big fan of Bergman, Fellini, and Lars von Trier.

Now you have me wondering if I have actually seen the original. Guess I should put it on the watchlist. Peckinpah's The Getaway was in my top 10 last year.
