Former royal butler says Harry and Meghan's upcoming anniversary could mark an 'olive branch' amid royal rift
Former royal butler Grant Harrold says a single gesture from the royal family on Harry and Meghan's could be seen as an "olive branch" amid the ongoing rift.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will celebrate their sixth wedding anniversary this Sunday May 19 after tying the knot in 2018.
Just two years after saying 'I do' at St. George's Chapel, Harry and Meghan announced their exit from the royal family.

In the years since moving to the US the pair have spoken candidly about their time as working royals, generating reports of a rift with the royal family.
But Harry and Meghan's anniversary this weekend could indicate where their relationship with the royal family is at today with a single small gesture.
"Typically, the Royal Family do acknowledge wedding anniversaries, we usually see social media posts so it'll be interesting to see if that happens this year," Harrold said in an interview for Fruity Slots.
"If they don't, once again it goes to show the ongoing division," he continued.
"If it does happen, then I see that as an olive branch."

"I'm sure Harry and Meghan will be marking their wedding anniversary together," he added.
The pair's wedding anniversary has not been marked by the royal family since their exit.
Just last month Harry's brother Prince William celebrated his 13th wedding anniversary with wife Catherine amid her ongoing cancer battle.
The pair marked the occasion with a new photo posted to the Prince and Princess of Wales official social media accounts on April 29.

An unseen picture of the couple on their wedding day was shared to the world with the caption: "13 years ago today!"
Harry and Meghan anniversary comes just days after their recent tour of Nigeria.
"The Duke and Duchess would like to extend their deepest gratitude to all the event organisers, military officials and the whole Nigerian community for their tremendous hospitality and the first of many memorable trips," a message on behalf of the couple read.
Earlier this month Prince Harry visited the UK for a Service of Thanksgiving to mark the 10th anniversary of his Invictus Games.
