One dead, juvenile hurt in shooting on Columbus' Northeast Side on Monday night

One person was killed and a juvenile was injured in a shooting Monday night on Columbus’ Northeast Side, police say.

Antonio M. Jones Jr., 18, was found about 9:45 p.m. suffering from a gunshot wound on the 2700 Block of Brentnell Avenue, according to Columbus police.  Medics pronounced him dead at 9:51 p.m. at the scene.

A second victim, a juvenile, took themself to a local hospital and was treated and released.
