A new women’s apparel and lifestyle boutique is coming to Raleigh’s North Hills

Altar’d State, a women’s clothing and lifestyle store, is expected to open in Raleigh’s North Hills in summer 2025.

The boutique will be located in the old Omega Sports space in The Commons of the Main District. The Greensboro-based Omega Sports chain closed all of its stores last year.

What is Altar’d State?

The store, part of a family of brands, offers women’s clothing, accessories and home decor. Its parent company, Stand Out for Good, Inc., also includes Arula, a store offering clothing in sizes 10-24; Tullabee, a store selling children’s apparel called Tullabee; activewear retailer AS Revival; and a wedding brand called Vow’d.

Founded in 2009, Altar’d State’s mission is to “Stand Out. For Good.” The company has partnered with more than 4,000 nonprofits that provide food, clothing, resources and education to children in need, according to its website. Altar’d State donates 10% of proceeds from purchases made on Mondays to nonprofits across the country.

The company’s name comes from its founders’ “faith-based approach and desire to alter the retail industry,” Altar’d State’s website says.
