There was one font on another MJ board I visit sometimes that pretended to be a fan for a whole six months, only to one day post one the nastiest messages I’ve ever seen directed towards MJ. Ever since then, I’m weary of people who are overly critical of MJ and expect fans to be in the name of “keeping it real.” Was MJ perfect? Of course not. But no other fan base is expectedly to constantly tear down the person they support. You won’t see Bey fans, Rihanna fans, Whitney fans, Mariah fans doing that at all. Michael Jackson is the only fan base where if you aren’t “dragging him” every 3 to 5 business days. You’re “delusional.”

No one is claiming people have an entitlement to be in a person's life......we all have cut off people, that isn't the point of contention, its his inconsideration to the way he cut people off who worked endlessly to support him. Frank Dileo was shook to the core after Michael cowardly fired him with a letter, he said he never could trust anyone else after this experience....and there so many other claims like this (a former cook, who was Brazilian sued for being unjustly discriminated and fired)....I am a firm believer in the energy you put out.....It became no surprise to me, that Michael was sued over 1000 times....if you all think this is normal and on par with industry standards, please explain other celebrities or business men you know who were legally sued in this capacity? There were issues, and instead of firing those who could steer his ship in the right direction, it literally sunk because all the people who cared, were all fired.........

Girl bye and read a book, I have never in all my life been a follower, just because you mindlessly believe everything that is told to you, doesn't mean that we all do the same........I like that I have a brain and can use it, and yes there's disappointment, because Michael's turmoil was self-inflicted, he had too many in his corner to change the course of his outcome....Me expecting better for a brilliant man doesn't make me hateful, it says I'm empathetic.

Mind you…to my knowledge, there has never been an official document of the transcript that has come from Dr. Gardner directly. Since Katz overlooked it and there are audio excerpts we know there is validity to it, but the site that was originally leaked to twenty years ago admitted that certain parts were redacted that it had been condensed and edited for “clarity.” It was typed directly onto the website, so there is no official paperwork to compare to…especially since those documents would have been inadmissible in court.

It happened, but we don’t know how much was changed from the original poster (who again admitted they did make edits).

I agree with this. There’s a lot of things MJ did that I don’t agree with, but the allegations is where I get confused with some fans.

The “separate the artist from the person” is where they lose me. Michael, the person, is deeply woven into his artistry; he said that himself.

If I believed even for one bit Michael could have done such vile harm to anybody, I wouldn’t have developed my interest in him in the first place.

Yes but the entire discussion the last day or so is over an unofficial leak of an interview that happened twenty years ago that has no actual document or full audio/video to back it up. The original poster admitted to redacting stuff, editing out inaudible parts of Jordie stuttering, and shortening it for clarity. Even within that, Jordie still fµcked up and got stuff wrong.

That's plausible, and I heard about this theory too....I'm just trying to connect the dots for it to make sense to me......it seems that VG was very active and projected his actions for MJ's camp to be alerted. I'm surprise Michael's people weren't put on notice to stop this scheme at play? its just a lot information to source through, and it's no wonder people are polarized 50/50 on this topic......
