It wasn’t hard to root against Randy Orton while he was a tyro. The 44-year-old has had his fair share of anger issues in the past. Now a venerated figure, the St. Louis native was often juxtaposed with that to a bully when he was merely a greenhorn. However, things are a lot different now, as narrated by Orton’s recent tag team partner, Kevin Owens.

Speaking on The Bump, the French-Canadian extolled Randy Orton for being the epitome of what a veteran looks like. Owens did allude to The Apex Predator not being reputable in his early days. And as elucidated by the former Universal Champion, Randy has been quite vocal about how recalcitrant he was back in the day. At last, K.O. said that Orton’s a true leader without wanting to be one.

The duo was originally assembled to combat the menace of Logan Paul en route to WrestleMania XL. Neither of the two babyfaces could uproot the United States Champion at The Show of Shows. However, that didn’t ensue discord between Orton and Owens as their camaraderie was just beginning to pick steam. They further joined forces to nullify some new hooligans in town.

Wasn’t always perfect in his younger years, but he readily admits to it, owns up to the mistakes he’s made. He’s truly a leader, without wanting to be one, without saying he’s a leader.

At Backlash, The Apex Predator and The Prizefighter waged war against Bloodline’s Solo Sikoa and Tama Tonga. The fan-favorite unit was on a roll for the better part of 40 minutes of the opening stretch. But, former NJPW star, Tonga Loa, showed up at ringside to doom Randy and Kevin. Loa was successful as he helped the revamped Bloodline breeze past its foes at the blink of an eye.

Who Randy Orton sees as the next breakout star of WWE?

If Randy Orton has scouted a name whom he believes could be the next breakout star in WWE, the fans should zero in on it. While speaking on Adam’s Apple, the 14-time World Champion revealed that he has his eyes set on Austin Theory.

Not only from a talent standpoint, the 26-year-old has gotten better on the microphone, Orton said.  The WWE icon also called for more opportunities for The Forever Champion so that he could thrive. The Legend Killer went on to say that Theory is way mature than how he used to be in his mid-20s.

Receiving such high remarks from a legend of the game, the A-Town Down Under member shouldn’t take it for granted. Even though he has yet to break the shackles, there’s something that sets Austin apart from his peers.
