Is broadcasting concerts live on Vlive still a thing???

Explain

I've been on kpop hiatus for like 3 years and i used to see many concerts online thanks to covid.

I'm interested in some groups and they're doing concerts rn but i barely see them broadcasted online or i just don't search enough?

It's gone??????? What do people use now then? They don't broadcast concerts anymore?

It merged into Weverse. Broadcast concert is still a thing but less common now when compared to during the pandemic

SM and JYP artists use Beyond Live for live broadcasting of concerts, it’s always around 40 USD per concert. If not on Weverse then groups would probably stream on interpark.

HelloLive is a website/app that does paid concert streams, as well as paid video calls.

I've used hellolive for both a fan concert stream and a video call.
Their fancall set up was actively less stressful than using Kakao or LINE.
You knew where in the line you were and you could see when the callers in front of you had completed their call.
Their customer support team were also super helpful when trying to access a show I had paid for, but couldn't see in their app. They communicated during a weekend to make sure I could access it before the expiration period.
Double Thumbs Up from me.

Probably not, as vlive doesn't even exist anymore lol. It got absorbed by Weverse I think. There's Weverse live now. I've seen some groups have concerts streaming on there, but also on other sites that their company partners with for streaming any live concerts.

Depends on the Group. They'll usually post if there's an online streaming option. Often it is announced after the tickets for the in person show has been announced and available for a few days.

As others have said, larger groups have been on Weverse (I've seen BTS and PLAVE on there).

For nugu groups/performers:

  • HelloLive described in other posts hellolive.tv - I've had issues with their credentials on my work laptop and can only watch on my iPad/phone

  • There's the now defunct Lakus

  • FLNK is another platform https://flnk.io Vanner performed there.

  • LivelyStage https://livelystage.com/
