Eligibility/Qualification:
- Master’s degree in Mathematical Psychology, Human Cognitive Neuroscience, Artificial Intelligence, Biology, Computer Science, or related fields.
- Experience in quantitative analysis of cognitive performance data.
- Proficiency in programming languages like Python and R.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English (C1 level).
- Good command of written and spoken Dutch or willingness to learn.
- Ability to work in an interdisciplinary and translational research environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proactive with good organizational skills.
Description: The SAMBA research group, led by Dr. Inti Brazil at the Donders Centre for Cognition, is offering a PhD position focusing on integrating neurobiological and psychological data to better understand individual differences. The project aims to develop a novel toolkit using advanced Bayesian statistical methods to capture these differences and apply them to various populations, including psychiatric patients and forensic psychiatric populations. The successful candidate will contribute to the development of this toolkit, conduct empirical research, publish results, and engage in dissemination activities.
