It is a very sad time for Bobby Lashley fans! Bobby is one of the most popular and technical proficient wrestlers in the WWE right now. He was going to take part in the latest King of The Ring tournament. However, he had to be taken out of the tournament after he suffered an injury.

Bobby will be replaced by his ally, Angelo Dawkins. Angelo will fight Tama Tongo, who is part of The Bloodline.

Booker T Shares His Thoughts About Bobby Lashley Being Taken Out of The Tournament Due to Injury

Booker T spoke about Bobby on his podcast.

He jokingly suggested that Bobby is ‘injury prone’, although that is not the case. Bobby is actually regarded as one of the best technical wrestlers and he is also quite formidable. Bobby is also one of the few WWE wrestlers that found success in the world of MMA.

In fact, Bobby was a MMA fighter before he started his second run in the WWE. Booker T compared Bobby’s situation to his WWE run in 2006. Booker T also had to be taken out of a series after he suffered an injury, to be replaced by Randy Orton.

"Well, the last time Bobby was taken out of the King of the Ring tournament, I did it. And now Bobby falls again. The man is injury prone," Booker joked. "I'm just playing, man. Bobby's down. It's one of those things, when you're in a tournament like that, something is always bound to happen.

I remember when I was doing the best of seven [series with Chris Benoit] in WWE and I got hurt and Randy Orton had to take my place, stuff like that happens. It's just part of the game. It's almost like a jinx too. When you get in these those kind of tournaments, King of the Ring tournament, it's almost like something is bound to happen.

But I'm sure Bobby's gonna get back real, real soon." We do not know what kind of injury Bobby suffered, but it seems to be serious enough that he won’t be able to compete in the King of The Ring. The WWE also did not state when Bobby will return to action.

Tama Tonga and Angelo will collide on Smackdown this week. The winner of the match will fight the winner of the LA Knight vs Santos Escobar match.
