UL softball: Complete schedule for NCAA Lafayette Regional

Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns softball was awarded the No. 13 overall seed in the 2024 NCAA Tournament Sunday night and will host a regional for the first time since 2016.

The Ragin' Cajuns will welcome Baylor, Ole Miss and Princeton in the Lafayette Regional at Lamson Park. Louisiana faces Princeton in its first game at 4:30 p.m. CT Friday.

The regional tournament is double-elimination with two games on Friday between the 1-seed versus 4-seed and 2-seed versus 3-seed. The winners and losers of the games will face each other on Saturday with the undefeated team advancing to the final. The team with two losses is eliminated and both teams that are 1-1 will play a second game Saturday to advance to the final on Sunday. The winner of Lafayette Regional advances to face the winner of the Gainesville Regional which features Florida, Florida Atlantic, South Alabama and Florida Gulf Coast.
