I booked a holiday to Texas for my son and I for April. He’s on the spectrum and panicked about being on a plane for so long. So we cancelled the trip and went to Greece instead. Well, I still would like to go to Texas as it’s on my bucket list. I have a group Esta that I applied for in December and I’m just unsure whether I could use it alone when I go on a solo trip over there?

197 helpful votes Hello Marina and welcome to the solo forum. None of here are immigration experts, so you may want to contact the US embassy directly to check if your group visa will be accepted as a solo traveller. Must admit I’d be intrigued to know what they say.
ESTAs come up a lot on the Air Travel forum, you might ask there. My understanding from posts there is that in a group application everyone gets an individual ESTA so you should be able to use it. I think you can look up your ESTA on a US gov't website which should tell you if you have a valid one.
I'm far from an expert though, as I'm a US citizen and don't need one.
