The success of a movie depends upon pure luck, amongst other things. That's not to say that the plot, characters and other things don't matter, but luck plays a huge role. Or perhaps That's the best explanation for some movies! Fans can name countless favorites that had everything – comedy, action, an exciting storyline, impressive performances, etc. yet they're massively underrated and deserve recognition. 

1. Megamind (2010)

Megamind by Dreamworks Studios, starring Will Ferrell as Megamind, was supposed to be a hit. Yet, it remains mostly unknown to people for some reason. Fans believe it is hilarious, charming, and unpredictable; your classic superhero versus villain trope with an unexpected twist. The cast is fantastic, and the script best represents Dreamworks' unique sense of huhumorOnce you watch it, you'll thoroughly enjoy it and go for rewatch!

2. Nacho Libre (2006)

When Jack Black stars in a movie, it will be a definite banger, such as Nacho Libre, a family comedy film. As always, Jack Black nailed the leading role so well that it is as if it was written specifically for him. You will not regret watching it once you give it a try!

6. Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (2004)

Starring Jim Carrey and Kate Winslet, this film is a mind-boggling romantic story. Many people may have watched it but because it's so complex and unlike other romance films, people dismissed its beauty. 7. Moon (2009)
