ACCAC Region I Runner-up to End the Season

Eastern Arizona College softball hosted the ACCAC Region I DI Playoffs on May 10 and 11 in Thatcher, AZ. The tournament started with a loss as EAC fell to Central Arizona in game one. They came back in the next game against Arizona Western with an 11-1 win but had a long way to go to get to the final. Day two, they beat Central 20-3 earning them a spot in the final battle against Pima Community College. Unfortunately, they fell short in the final,5-8, crowning Pima CC the Region I Champions and placing EAC as Region I Runner-up.

The Lady Monsters had a successful regular season with a 36-10 overall record. Their 29-3 conference record had them earning the ACCAC Conference Championship Title and Coach Aguirre named Head Coach of the Year for 2024.

The Lady Monsters look to rise to the challenge next year and punch their ticket to Nationals. Go Monsters!
