Gavin Rossdale - the ex-husband of Gwen Stefani - has been spotted enjoying a vacation with his new girlfriend... but fans can't help but spot something familiar.
For those who are unaware, Rossdale and Stefani first met back in 1995 when she was on a 27-month tour with her band No Doubt. Bumping into each other in London, Rossdale was with his band, Bush, and it wasn't long before the two pair clicked and they embarked on a long-distance relationship.
Seven years later in September 2002, and the two musicians tied the knot in a beautiful wedding ceremony in the English capital city
After learning that Rossdale was the biological father to future fashion model Daisy Lowe in 2004, Gwen and Gavin would welcome their firstborn son, Kingston James McGregor Rossdale, in May 2006.
The couple would go on to welcome two more sons - Zuma Nesta Rock Rossdale in 2008 and Apollo Bowie Flynn Rossdale in 2014.
Sadly, after 20 years, Gwen and Gavin announced their split in August 2015.
While Stefani has gone on to marry US music star Blake Shelton, Rossdale is now in a relationship with Albanian singer Xhoana X.
And recently, the 58-year-old Bush star was spotted enjoying a sunny break with his 35-year-old partner in Cabo San Lucas.
But after photos of their vacation hit social media, people couldn't help but point out the obvious... Xhoana's dazzling blonde hair and red lipstick were very reminiscent of Rossdale's ex-wife Stefani, who is often seen sporting the iconic look.
Sharing an image of the couple, one X user wrote: "Gavin Rossdale's new girlfriend looks a little bit familiar."
A second joked: "Well…he has a type."
And a third asked: "You're telling me that's not Gwen Stefani?!"
Even PerezHilton.com took a shot, tweeting: "He couldn’t have Gwen Stefani anymore, so he got this lookalike!"
Rossdale and Xhoana X recently went public with their relationship after they started dating last year.
Rossdale initially shared a photo with Xhoana X on Instagram in March 2024. The Bush frontman has generally chosen to keep his romantic life out of the public eye since his split from Stefani.
In a July 2020 interview with PEOPLE, Rossdale candidly discussed his dating life post-split from Stefani, humorously admitting his struggles with balancing single parenthood and dating. "I don't know, it may be too difficult to combine being a devastating single dad with the attention required for a beautiful girl," he joked. "So I don't know. I’m trying to find my feet on that one. It's unresolved."
During a March 2024 appearance on the Amy & T.J. podcast alongside hosts Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes, Rossdale revealed that he initiated contact with Xhoana X, and the pair bonded over their mutual passion for music.
Their relationship reached a public milestone when they made their red carpet-debut at the iHeartRadio Music Awards in April 2024.
