Wildfire scorches scenic European island of Cyprus: See the charred aftermath

Thanks in part to water drops from airplanes, an intense wildfire that broke out on the scenic European island of Cyprus is now under control, but the damage has been done. A blaze began in an industrial zone near Ipsonas, a few miles away from the center of the southern coastal city of Limassol. After all was said and one, about four square miles of vegetation was burned and lost.
