Online it says that Mindbender damage is affected by Dark Ascension in the aura description. When I cast mindbender on the dummy it was doing 10280 per hit. When I activated Dark Ascension, it was doing the same damage. In details, it shows mindbender as physical, not shadow damage. Dark Ascension did increase Inescapable Torment tho, as that shadows as shadow damage.
I was trying to find a forum post or online guide to see if this was addressed already because it seems the consensus is that DA does in mindbender, but that’s not what I’m seeing.
Mindbender melee isn’t your damage, it’s mindbender’s damage. The spell ID being in the list just means that, for whatever reason, DA buffs the cast of mindbender were that to have a damage component.
I knew you would know the answer. Those auras and spell ID are difficult to decipher sometimes. 'Preciatecha!
