Barça 8-0 Real Sociedad: Cup winners!
Another Copa de la Reina for FC Barcelona! In Zaragoza, Barça Women overwhelmed Real Sociedad 8-0 in the final with Ona Battle, Mariona and Caroline Graham Hansen all grabbing braces with Paraluello and Pina rounding off the win.
A 10th Copa de la Reina trophy can be added to the victories earlier in the season in the Super Cup and the league with the big prize, the Champions League, to come next weekend in the final against Olympique Lyonnais.
Culer whirlwind
The final in La Romareda got off to the best possible start for the blaugranes with Ona Battle putting Jonatan Giráldez's team 1-0 up after five minutes. Paralluelo made it 2-0 on 14 minutes before two goals in six minutes from Graham Hansen left Barça 4-0 up with less than half an hour gone.
Dominating possession and the game, Battle added her second and the team's fifth to make it 5-0 at half to FC Barcelona with Real Sociedad overwhelmed.
More goals
Despite being 5-0 up, the blaugranes came out hungry for more in the second half. Salma Paralluelo provided an assist for Mariona to make it 6-0 and then created a goal for Claudia Pina just eight minutes into the second half to make it 7-0. Five minutes later Mariona grabbed her second of the game to end the scoring for the blaugranes as they controlled the game until the final whistle arrived in Zaragoza to signal a 10th Copa de la Reina for Barça!
