LISTEN: Unofficial supporters’ group get behind A-League’s Auckland FC

An unofficial supporters’ group is underway with plans to get behind Auckland’s new A-League expansion club.

Organisers say they have already secured block 22 at Go Media Stadium Mt Smart so their members can cheer on Auckland FC from behind the goal at home games.

The supporters’ group, known as The Port, are looking at ways to help their team, similar to the support given to the Wellington Phoenix by their Yellow Fever fan group.

The Port founders Stefan Bebic and Adrian Drew gave an update on their plans to sports broadcaster Martin Devlin, in his It’s Only Sport show on The Platform.
