Jelly Roll has come full circle while visiting his old high school in Antioch, Tennessee. This was a huge deal as the music superstar had been previously banned from coming back. Now, he has returned to his old stomping grounds and it was a momentous occasion. Keep reading for more details.
Jelly Roll Comes Full Circle Visiting Old High School
Growing up, Jelly Roll went through a lot and admittedly was always getting into trouble. He shared that his mother was always there answering calls from jail and worrying about him at night. Since then, he has completely turned his life around and has become someone to look up to. He visits his old spots, prisons, and is constantly inspiring others to see that there is light at the end of the tunnel. This is one of the reasons why fans gravitate so much to him because he is such a success story.
Now, in a twist, Jelly and his wife, Bunnie XO took a trip back to Antioch High School in Tennessee. This was a big deal as he had previously been banned from the halls he felt he would never return. More so, he likely never wanted to return. According to People, Jelly and Bunnie ventured to those hallowed halls where they got an amazing reception. This was the warmth that Bunnie needed as her father, Bill, had just passed away right before they went to the school. She shared this big day for her husband on her TikTok for all her followers to see.

In the video, Bunnie wrote this:
“They told my husband he would never be allowed back into his high school when he was younger. Last week I got to watch him walk the halls again, perform & be welcomed by the kids & teachers. The love and giving back that they showed my husband was the sweetest thing ever to watch. But most importantly the smiles on those kids faces was priceless [sic] & what I truly needed in that moment. Thank you Antioch High School students & staff for the warm hug we needed that day. Go Bears!”
Jelly was embraced by all and it was clear that his past did not matter but rather what he was doing now was what counted. He was no longer the punk kid who was going nowhere and it was just what Bunnie’s heart needed in a time of utter sadness.
