Bruce Hornsby & the Noisemakers to play Empire State Plaza on July 4

The city of Albany is already gearing up for the Fourth of July.

They announced Bruce Hornsby & the Noisemakers are set to headline New York State’s 48th Annual Fourth of July celebration presented by Price Chopper/Market 32.

Each year, it features live music, a naturalization ceremony for new citizens, a flyover by the New York Air National Guard’s 109th Airlift Wing, and the biggest fireworks display in the region.

The event will be held from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. – and typically draws tens of thousands of people to the Empire State Plaza.
