Love Is Blind stars welcome first baby – and reveal daughter's unique name

Love Is Blind stars Zack Goytowski and Bliss Poureetezadi have announced that they've welcomed their first child together.

Zack and Bliss, who were contestants on season four of the Netflix reality dating series, are the first couple from the show to have a baby together.

The loved-up couple have revealed that their first child, a daughter, was born on Friday, April 26, in an adorable Instagram post. In an exclusive chat with People they announced that their daughter weighed seven pounds and 11 ounces.

The couple said: "We are so in love with our precious, beautiful baby girl."

And they added: "We are forever changed and are so blessed to spend the rest of our lives loving her. She is our moon, our stars, the center of our universe."

A representative for People confirmed that their daughter is Galileo Terri Rayne.

"A powerful name for a powerful lady," Bliss clarified in a pinned Instagram comment. “Galileo was not only one of the great brilliant minds of our time but the name also represents where Jesus performed his miracles.”

When announcing the pregnancy, Zack and Bliss told People magazine: “We both really wanted this, and so we just felt really blessed that we were able to have this happen."

The new parents met in the pods of the hit show but their journey wasn't a smooth sailing one as Zack dumped Bliss and chose Irina Solomonova, deciding to go to Mexico with her, and he even proposed.

However, they quickly realised they weren’t a match, and called it a day.

Zack then returned to Seattle, Washington, where he reconnected with Bliss, and soon after, he proposed to her, and Bliss didn’t hesitate in saying yes.

The couple are aware that their love story isn’t a normal one, but they have said that they have no problem with their child watching the show and finding out how they met in the future.

They told People that their children will have an “interesting” story to tell when they speak to their friends about how their parents met. They also said it's “beautiful” that their child can go back and watch their parent's journey.

A baby was always on the cards for the couple, as at the Love Is Blind reunion, Bliss said: “We do things really fast. Our engagement was only two weeks and a couple days, much shorter than everyone else's. I can't wait to have this man's babies.”
