Ryan Garcia has sparked controversy in the boxing world following his positive test for banned substances after his fight against Devin Haney in Brooklyn, New York. The American boxer with Mexican roots has come out swinging, particularly targeting British promoter Eddie Hearn, whom he accused of being part of a conspiracy to tarnish his reputation and force him out of professional boxing.

Hit out at Hearn

In a candid interview with Boxing Social, Garcia didn't hold back his disdain for Hearn, calling him a "scumbag" and accusing him of hypocrisy. Interestingly, despite his harsh words, Garcia later posted a photo with Hearn where both appeared smiling.

"I don't care if they ban me for my whole life because I'm just going to create my own fights and my own leagues," he said.

"I'm not going to walk away from boxing, I'm going to walk away from this boxing, and create my own league and fight on my own show.

Garcia also named his preferred opponents should he avoid a doping suspension.

"Errol Spence Jr, or Fondura at 154, I will sleep both of those men, I will sleep both of those men," he noted.

"I will sleep Errol Spence more. He's toast. It's personal."
