it’s so hard being around my friends with kids, wishing I was in the same phase of life with them. they have no idea how hard it is holding their babies and wishing they were mine, imagining just for a second that they are.

i’m tired of people asking if/when we want kids, I feel like people should know by now to not ask that question.

it’s so hard to hear “we weren’t even trying!” when someone announces their pregnancy, even harder to hear that my 16 year old cousin is pregnant.

i’ve wanted to be a mom my whole life. yet people who don’t even want kids get pregnant on accident all the time.

I wish we didn’t listen to the people who said “don’t get pregnant right away!” “enjoy a year of just the two of you!” and wish that we started trying as soon as we got married.

I know life isn’t fair and we’re on God’s timing, but what the heck. ��

if/when we do have kids, I hope they know how wanted and loved they are.
