Just looking at that graph all I can think of is all the retail stores that are going away from self checkout because of theft and how they will need cashiers.

Some of this stuff if like that, unintended consequences drive the future in a different direction than the big brains think it will go in. How many shoppers do these stores now employ to pick items for delivery or curbside pickup these days? I know all 4 of the local Walmarts I visit have a swarm of them pushing their carts around whenever I'm shopping and then there's the folks that bring it to your car too.

I don't think Trump actually succeeded. He tried, but the bureaucrats stopped him, tied his bands the whole time. I'm also not sure that, even without those restrictions, he would have achieved it. The greatness of the USA depended heavily on energy dominance, which we haven't had since the 1990s. I'd say that, as a definitive time marker, that Sept. 11th 2001 was the event that caused the US to crumble from its peak. After that, we lost credibility as a superpower, spent ourselves to death unsuccessfully fighting goatherds, got caught lying to the world about WMDs in Iraq, created a potential finance catastrophe by giving loans to anyone with a pulse, and then robbed the next several generations' prosperity to cover the bill.
