Months after South Korean singer Ailee announced that she is getting married, it has been revealed that her husband-to-be is a former contestant of Singles Inferno. Yes, you read it right, Ailee is marrying Choi Sihun. The news was confirmed by a source close to the singer. The statement cleared the air on rumours that she was dating and is engaged to a non-celebrity businessman.
On Tuesday, a source told News1 that Ailee and Choi Sihun got engaged in March and due to tie the knot soon. “Ailee, who revealed she was engaged in March, will be marrying Choi Si Hoon,” the source said, adding that Sihun is currently running a restaurant in Seoul. “Choi Si Hoon currently owns a business in Jongno, Seoul,” the grapevine added. Ailee is yet to address these claims.
Who is Choi Si Hun?
Choi Si Hun is a rising star in the South Korean entertainment industry. Apart from running a restaurant in Seoul, he has also appeared in a string of TV shows. While his most memorable appearance has been Single’s Inferno, where he appeared as a participant in the first season, he has also starred in a few K-dramas and movies.
These include The New Employee (2022), I Ate Well Today (2021), Romanced (2021), Café Kilimanjaro (2020), Clumsy Love (2019) and I Started Following Romance (2019).
About Ailee’s Wedding
Ailee announced her wedding plans in March 2024. Her agency confirmed that she is engaged and plans to get married in 2025. “Hello. This is A2Z Entertainment. Ailee is currently dating a non-celebrity man, whom she was introduced to by her acquaintance, with the goal of getting married next year,” the statement read.
