City's 4-0 victory at Craven Cottage on Sunday was our 16th successive win over Fulham in all competitions - marking the longest winning run by a team against any opponent in English football history.

That run stretches all the way back to February 2012 and has comprised of 13 league wins, two in the FA Cup and one in the League Cup.

In that time, we have scored 49 goals against Fulham and conceded just five.

We also hold the two second longest such runs, with 15 wins against Bournemouth and Watford.

Pep Guardiola has now won all 13 of his games against Marco Silva, his best 100% record against an opposition manager in his career.

We have now won each of our last seven Premier League games by at least two goals; our joint-longest run of victories in the competition when winning by more than one goal each time.

It matches a run of seven between May and August 2015.

This latest three points came courtesy of a Josko Gvardiol brace, a sweeping Phil Foden finish and a late Julian Alvarez penalty.

After not scoring in any of his first 32 appearances for City across all competitions, Gvardiol has netted five goals in his last seven games for the Club.

None of his five goals for the Club have been scored with his stronger left foot (four right-footed and one header).

Meanwhile, Foden scored his 25th goal of the season, becoming just the second English player to score 25+ in a season for the Club in the Premier League era (across all competitions), after Raheem Sterling in 2018/19 (25) and 2019/20 (31).

In avoiding another defeat, Rodrigo has now gone 48 consecutive Premier League appearances without ending on the losing side.

In Premier League history, only Sol Campbell between November 2002 and October 2004 has ever had a longer unbeaten run (56 games).

Kevin De Bruyne provided the assist for the opener, linking beautifully with Gvardiol.

It was his 111th assist in his Premier League career, putting him joint-second with Cesc Fabregas in terms of the division’s best creators of all-time.

That tally has come in just 258 appearances, with Fabregas requiring 350 matches.
