It’s a Gordon Ramsay restaurant in a name only. Service was disappointing, beef wellington was good, but Sunday roast & Yorkshire was terrible, even the side salad lacked flavor. They only put effort and detail into the expensive dish. We booked because it had Ramsay’s name, we won’t make that mistake again.

Food was fine. Service was a bit inattentive and slightly pushy. 'You want roti with your rice yes?' even though I hadn't ordered rice etc. Long wait to find someone so we could order a second drink. It was okay - not somewhere I'd rush to return to.

Don’t be sucked in by the set menu! £7 for a bottle of water, mains served with no sides so have to pay extra and ridiculously overpriced drinks! With service charge dinner for 2 was £135! Set menu was £19.50 for 2 courses!! We had the wings and fish which were good but nothing special considering it’s a Gordon Ramsey restaurant! Fish should have had crispy skin too but was slimy! Cocktails were good but too expensive! Service was attentive and friendly but we won’t be back!!

The Mac and Cheese was dry and did not have a lot of flavour, but the ribs and the desserts were to die for. Absolutely unbelievable value from the ribs: great portion, outstanding flavour. The desserts were incredible: the ice cream was top level and the chocolate pudding was so good that I wanted another immediately after. Service was perfect and very friendly. Overall an amazing experience. I will be back for sure

Very mixed bag! The food was really nice, not crazy nor too casual. The hostess when we arrived were amazing and the barmen at the basement bar really good. The Service at the table was just horrible with waiters and waitress that just did not care and had not clues… Could have been a really nice night

Fantastic food, service and staff, after a wonderful meal this Saturday on the 27/4/24 for my wife's 50th we moved down tho the secret bar!!! It was phenomenal, the two guys behind the bar, wow, full of energy and excellent hosts and bar man, can't thank them enough, the cocktails, dancing and music they put on was electric, thank you, just gutted I didn't get their names to mention them, Gordon give them a pay rise!!!!!!!

My husband, two children and I had a wonderful meal at Heddon St Kitchen. The hostess and our server, Lidia, were so welcoming. My kids enjoyed the Mac and cheese off the kids eat free menu while my husband loved the duck salad. We were treated to the ice cream bar for dessert which was the perfect ending to a spectacular meal.

we loved our dinner in this restaurant. The service was great. We ate more than well. The carpaccio was succulent and the Wellington beef excellent. My daughter also ate very well with her children's menu. And the ice cream bar, an excellent surprise for children. Exceptional meal A big thank-you

We dined twice during our visit to London. Both times the food was very good; however, the second service was poor and inattentive. First occasion the service was cold but attentive. The second had many issues. Our daughter had asked to go back to celebrate her last day in London and 10th birthday. The door to the exterior seating was continuously left opened causing a severe wind tunnel directed toward our table as we were in direct line to the outside door. I asked to be moved and the hostess stated we can sit outside under the heat lamps, no other options. We had to wear our jackets during our meal. The table next to us asked for their scarves. It had to be approx 45 degrees in the restaurant. We sat for approximately 20 mins before our server came to welcome us, and waited 20 mins to order our mains and desserts. Ordered an espresso after dinner and watched it sit at the counter for 10 mins when the manager realized it and started a new one. I purposely held our dessert menus in my hand to make my point that no one took our dessert order. When dessert was served no one mentioned our daughter’s birthday and had been marked on our reservation when we booked. We were thoroughly disappointed and felt as if we were just a throw away table that servers were forced to serve.

We had a nice experience thanks to our waitress Lidia Nagy. I had fish and chips which was great. However my daughter had couple sides macaroni cheese and meatball both were disappointing. Meatball was too spicy and macaroni was lack of sauce. Pastas were still uncooked.

Unfortunately after 3 o 4 visits so far, we have seen this place getting worse every time, until this point that we wont go back again. This time the service was terrible. After sitting down and being asked for the order, the waitress disappeared, the tables next to us were service by other waiters which were not properly attending us. Finally the hostess help us and serve us directly (very kind), but again, did not come back to clear the table, we could not ask for another drink and so on. We had to complain over and over. In addition to that, the food was disappointing, we asked for two ravioli pasta, that we very small (like frozen packaged food).

Service and environmental are great. Appetisers are alright. Got a medium rare sirloin steak and it’s raw and chewy. Another one got an Idiot sandwich and it’s just a regular sandwich I would expect it slight different from the name.

Poor food quality that you expect of a fast food joint and not of a Gordon Ramsay. You need to do justice to the Chef's name. They were so quick to bring the heated mains to the table that they forgot how hot it was. The Tamarind wings and the prawn cocktail were of fair quality and taste. Never coming there again. The waiter Mr. Jose Andreas (did not catch the correct spelling) did an excellent job. He had good service ethic.

Service varies between excellent and poor. It’s very inconsistent. We were somewhat ignored outside after being very well treated initially. Food was relatively average which wasn’t too much of surprise, we weren’t expecting fine dining. But we probably expected slightly better for what was paid.

Nice lively restaurant in a good location. Wide ranging menu but the food we had nothing special. I tried to order a small portion of the crispy duck salad with a side of fries and the waitress said it would be too small, so I ordered the large one. It was very bland, no real flavour except that provided by an overwhelming quantity of pickled ginger, and for me far too much extremely chewy ( as opposed to crispy) duck, most of which I left. The small version would have been more than adequate. My friend had a burger which was fine but very underdone for her taste ( she was not asked how she would like it cooked). We tried one dessert - Black Forest Cheesecake - which was very nice.

It’s a lovely restaurant with great atmosphere and good service but I don’t think the food is that great. Starters tasty but overly heavy on the ginger on the scallops. £40-on quid for a steak so for it not to be blowing your socks off tasty is a little disappointing. The ribeye was quite chewy around the outside. Duck salad was “ok” in the opinion of my partner. Anyhow, nice spot and useful for pre-theatre atmospheric dining.

Disappointed that we had booked the weekend brunch and arrived to be told they didn’t do it anymore. Service was really slow, had to ask for water, to order drinks, order food, was not offered dessert menu, had to ask twice for bill, and then ask to pay. Food was nice, nothing special, a strange selection, a bit over priced which was also disappointing as the brunch menu had looked good value and nicer choices.
